Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, 2nd October 2016: Khaleeji Commercial Bank (KHCB), one of the leading Islamic banks in the Kingdom of Bahrain, recently announced its ‘Golden Sponsorship’ for the Bahrain International Project Management Convention, which is set to take place on the 1st of November and continue for a period of one month. The convention is organized by the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF), the Project Management Institute and supported by the Central Bank of Bahrain.


This convention will focus on various areas of Science and the Art of Project Management, whilst introducing the main success factors through a variety of workshops supervised by international coaches. The convention will witness huge participation from delegates and employees from privet & public sectors. This is in addition to those seeking to run their own business and become entrepreneurs. The participants will receive valuable opportunity to improve their skills in the fields of managing and organizing projects, potential risk assessment, result review and learning from inspirational stories of the entrepreneurs participating in the convention.


In this context, Mr. Khalil Al Meer, CEO of KHCB, said, “Our sponsorship for this convention shows our commitment to improving Bahraini skills and talents, together constituting the key source of success achieved by KHCB; the Bahrainisation of the employees in KHCB equals to 99 percent, and we have ensured that some of them attend the convention in order to benefit their professional career.”


He further added, “This convention is significantly important due to the valuable topics and experiences that will be discussed during the workshop, which is intended to benefit participants by gaining new skills for managing their business. These skills will assist in improving the level of achievement within small or medium businesses and furthermore the private sector employees. This will positively reflect on the economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain.”
